It is really exciting for me to introduce you to Studio Assistant(r).

Studio Assistant(r) is a Windows-based tool developed to act as an accompanist in the studio or rehearsal setting. Offered as an alternative accompaniment, it provides the flexibility that is not currently available to most students or coaches using accompaniment CDs or tapes.

Development was a result of my own study and the improvement that I saw in my learning cycle when I rehearsed with flexible accompaniment. Yet, the tool requires the discipline to the score because it does not follow the student.

As a tool in the studio where the vocal coach accompanies the student, Studio Assistant(r) can free the coach from the role of accompanist, allowing more attention to the student's performance.

Though developed specifically to meet the needs of a vocalist, it can also be used for instrumental rehearsal as well.
